Possible Cause:
  • The power plug is not connected.
  • The circuit breaker has been activated.
  • The power cord is damaged.
  • The power switch on the machine is damaged.
Troubleshooting:
  • Check your electrical outlet first to make sure it has power and the machine is properly connected to it.
  • Check the power cord for any suspicious burns, cuts, or open insulation.
  • Remove the plastic housing and check the machine wiring for any burnt or damaged wires.
  • Lastly, contact Insta Graphic Systems, if the issue is still not resolved.
Possible Cause:
  • Defective high temperature limiter.
  • Broken heater wires.
  • Broken heating element.
Troubleshooting:
  • Check the connections and condition of the electrical wires.
  • To disassemble the Upper Platen, please contact Insta Graphic Systems.
Possible Cause:
  • There is a vacuum being created between the Upper Platen heated surface and the silicone pad.
  • The plungers are blocking the pressure handle.
Troubleshooting:
  • Operating the machine using a garment should eliminate this issue. If not, replace the rubber pad and/or use a Teflon cover.
  • Check the video instructions to adjust the plungers View Video.
Possible Cause:
  • Improperly greased or the plungers are protruding too much (getting stuck).
  • The plungers are not protruding enough (too lose).
Troubleshooting:
  • Check the video instructions to adjust the plunger View Video.
  • Adjust the plungers by loosening the nut to retract the plunger and then installing the plunger back. Once this process is complete, ensure the plunger was installed correctly by swinging away the upper platen, wiggling the pressure handle to see if it drops down. If the pressure handle drops re-adjusted the plungers.

  • Loose connection of RTD sensor to Digital Controller.
  • RTD sensor is either loose or is defective.
  • Digital controller is faulty.
Troubleshooting:
  • Check the controller wire connection and make sure they are properly secured.
  • Contact Insta Graphic Systems for replacement/repair of RTD sensor or digital controller.

  • RTD sensor is loose.
  • Digital controller is defective.

  • Lift the handle up. If handle drops down, the gas spring should be replaced.
